Experience
Tax Advisor Juanita Aubel, EA, joined the firm in 2005. She brings more than 15 years experience in accounting and taxation, working both in public and private accounting positions.

Education and Professional Designations
Juanita has taken several accounting courses at York College. She has also studied income and payroll tax through various sources. Her specialties include payroll, sales and use tax, multi-state taxation, individual and corporate income taxes. She also works extensively with QuickBooks software, and is a 2008 and 2009 QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

In 1996, she successfully completed the Internal Revenue requirements to become an Enrolled Agent. While the Enrolled Agent license was created in 1984 and has a long and storied past, today’s EAs are the only tax professionals tested by the IRS on their knowledge of tax law and regulations. They provide tax preparation, representation, tax planning and other financial services to millions of individual and business taxpayers.

Community Involvement
Juanita served as an Emergency Medical Technician for local ambulance clubs for nine years. She is currently a volunteer with York Hospital.
