Gary is a manager with 14 years experience in public accounting and two years in private accounting and consulting experience with publically traded companies.
His background includes: - Planning and conducting audit, review and compilation engagements
- Assessing and testing of internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Managing Internal Audit functions
- Investigating suspected fraud
- Fraud prevention
Internally, Gary is a member of the firm's Accounting and Auditing and Quality Control Team.
Education and Professional Development
Gary graduated Magna Cum Laude from York College of Pennsylvania with a BS degree in Accounting. Gary is a Certified Fraud Examiner and is certified in Fraud Prevention and Detection. Gary is also a Certified Internal Auditor. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and both the American institute of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs.
Community Involvement
Gary is a member of the finance committee for the YorkArts Association.
