Stephen H. Klunk, CPA, was previously managing partner of Harry Ness & Company. He is also a past president of Stambaugh Ness, PC, the company that was formed in the mid-90's with the merger of Stambaugh Dorgan and Harry Ness & Company. During his career he has been responsible for audits in the financial services industry, as well as audits, compilations and reviews for other businesses. His concentration is in tax and business mergers and acquisitions.

A native of Hanover, Steve graduated from Duquesne University in 1974, with a BS degree, cum laude, in Accounting. Prior to joining Harry Ness & Company in 1980, Steve worked in the Pittsburgh office of J. K. Lasser & Company and, thereafter, for a small public accounting firm in Lititz, PA. During his career he has managed engagements including start-up organizations, leveraged buy-outs and companies filing with the Securities Exchange Commission.

Steve is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. He is a past President of the South Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and served on the Council for the Pennsylvania Institute. During his career in York he has been a member of various nonprofit boards. He currently is treasurer and board member of the York Foundation, Treasurer of Rotary District 7390 and Financial Vice President of the Rotary Club of York. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of York Technical Institute.
