Steve is President and Chief Operating Officer of Stambaugh Ness. For the past eight years, he served as Chief Operating and Information Officer as a member of Executive Management Team. In his position, Steve champions the customers’ experience and the success of the employees of Stambaugh Ness through execution of the organization’s strategic plans. 

Steve is also Managing Partner of Stambaugh Ness Business Solutions, the region's leading accounting software and technology consulting affiliate.

He has been with the organization for 26 years.

His professional experience has covered a wide range of industries for which he has provided audit, tax, accounting, technology, and management consulting services.

Steve received his BS degree in Accounting with honors from West Chester University. He is a native of the York area and a graduate of Spring Grove High School. Steve is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Steve prevously earned a Certificate of Educational Achievement from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in tax planning and advising for closely-held corporations.

Steve also is a graduate of the Leadership York program and has served on various nonprofit boards including the Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center. He also has served on various committees of the YMCA of York and as president of LeTip of York, a networking organization that has been recognized for its membership and program quality.

Steve volunteers his time in various youth sport programs.
