Stambaugh Ness Business Solutions (SNBS) is searching for an Accounting Software Consultant to work in our York office. SNBS is the information technology division of Stambaugh Ness, PC.

As an Accounting Software Consultant, you will provide on-site consulting and remote support consulting to our clients in the South Central PA Region. This includes working on large and small projects as a member of the implementation team. Consultants also analyze software requirements to determine the best fit and provide demonstrations of software in the sales process to prospective clients. In addition, they help clients with the mechanics of the implementation, provide training, and inform /suggest ways to optimize the performance of clients’ software and business processes. Support also includes helping clients with basic accounting questions including payroll, fixed assets, and account reconciliations.

Requirements:
The qualified candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as possess knowledge of the accounting cycle and operations, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Must have accounting experience through one of the following:

• Certified in accounting
• OR educated in accounting (associate or bachelor degree)
• OR held a position as an accountant.

Experience using any or all of the following will be a plus, but not a must: BusinessWorks, QuickBooks, Peachtree, Crystal Reports. Please be certain that your resume indicates the experience level you have with accounting software packages.

The candidate must be willing to travel primarily in the local area with an occasional trip to out of town clients.
